Legal basis of the treatment
We process data mainly on the basis of user consent. Consent is granted via the banner at the bottom of the page, or via the specifically prepared communication or service request forms, with which the consents relating to the specific purpose of the service are collected. The provision of data and therefore the consent to the collection and processing of data is optional, the User can deny consent, and can revoke an already given consent at any time (via the banner at the bottom of the page or the browser settings for cookies, or the Contact link). However, denying consent may make it impossible to provide some services and the browsing experience on the site could be reduced.
The data for site security and for the prevention of abuse and SPAM, as well as data for analyzing site traffic (statistics) in aggregate form, are processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in protecting the site and of the users themselves. In such cases, the user always has the right to oppose the processing of data (see par. User rights).
Purpose of the treatment
The processing of data collected from the site, in addition to the related, instrumental and necessary purposes for the provision of the service, is aimed at the following purposes:
– Statistics (analysis)
Collection of data and information in an exclusively aggregated and anonymous form in order to verify the correct functioning of the site. None of this information is related to the natural person-User of the site, and does not allow identification in any way. Consent is not required.
- Safety
Collection of data and information in order to protect the security of the site (spam filters, firewalls, virus detection) and of the Users and to prevent or unmask fraud or abuse against the website. The data is recorded automatically and may possibly also include personal data (IP address) which could be used, in compliance with the laws in force on the subject, in order to block attempts to damage the site itself or to cause damage to other users, or in any case harmful activities or constituting a crime. These data are never used for the identification or profiling of the User and are periodically deleted. Consent is not required.
- Ancillary activities
Communicate data to third parties who perform functions necessary or instrumental to the operation of the service, and to allow third parties to carry out technical, logistical and other activities on our behalf. - Reservations or reservation requests
In case of spontaneous sending of data in order to request a reservation, the data will be used only for the purpose of evaluating the assignment and for the eventual fulfillment of the same. In such cases, specific information will be provided.
Collected data
We collect user data in two ways.
- Data collected automatically
During Users' browsing, the following information may be collected and stored in the site's server (hosting) log files:
- internet protocol (IP) address;
- browser type;
- parameters of the device used to connect to the site;
- name of the internet service provider (ISP);
- date and time of visit;
- web page of origin of the visitor (referral) and exit;
- possibly the number of clicks.
These data are used for statistical and analysis purposes, in an exclusively aggregated form. The IP address is used for security purposes only and is not cross referenced with any other data.
- Data provided voluntarily

Place of treatment
The data is processed at the headquarters of the Data Controller, and at the web hosting datacenter. The web hosting (aruba.it and wix.com), is responsible for processing the data on behalf of the owner, is located in the European Economic Area and acts in accordance with European standards.
Data retention period
The data collected during the operation of the site are kept for the time strictly necessary to carry out the specified activities. Upon expiry, the data will be deleted or anonymized, unless there are other purposes for their conservation.
The data (IP address) used for site security purposes (blocking attempts to damage the site) are kept for 30 days.
Data for analytics (statistics) purposes are stored only in aggregate form.
The data collected for requests for consultancy or for professional assignments are kept for the time necessary to carry out the assignment and for ancillary purposes (legal protection, etc...).
Transfer of collected data to third parties
The data collected by the site are generally not provided to third parties, except in specific cases:
- legitimate request by the judicial authority and only in the cases foreseen by the law;
- if it is necessary for the provision of a specific service requested by the User;
- for carrying out security checks or site optimization.
Data transfer to non-EU countries
We may need to share some of the data we collect with services located outside the European Union area. In particular with Google, Facebook through social plugins and the Google Analytics service. The transfer is authorized according to specifications decisions of the European Commission, or on the basis of the Standard Contractual Clauses of the individual services (see the paragraphs relating to third-party services).
Security measures
We process visitor/user data in a lawful and correct manner, adopting the appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or unauthorized destruction of data. We are committed to protecting the security of your personal data during their transmission, using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information in transit. The processing is carried out using IT and/or telematic tools, with organizational methods and with logic strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to the Data Controller, in some cases, categories of persons in charge involved in the organization of the site or external subjects (such as third party technical service providers, hosting providers) may have access to the data.
Cookies
We use cookies, text files which are recorded on the user's terminal or which allow access to information on the user's terminal. Cookies make it possible to store information on visitors' preferences, they are used to verify the correct functioning of the site and to improve its functionality by personalizing the content of the pages based on the type of browser used, or to simplify navigation by automating the procedures (e.g. Login, site language), and finally for the analysis of the use of the site by visitors.

Third party cookies
The site also acts as an intermediary for third-party cookies (such as buttons for social networks), used to be able to provide additional services and functions to visitors and to simplify the use of the site itself. These services are also used by third parties to collect data on users' interests in order to provide them with personalized advertising on partner sites. Not on this site, which has no advertising of any kind. This site has no control over their cookies entirely managed by third parties and has no access to the information collected through these cookies. The information is combined with information collected from other sites in order to create a comparative picture of the use of the site compared to other sites of the same category.
Data collected: browser identifier, date and time of interaction with the site, page of origin, IP address.
Place of data processing: European Union, since the anonymisation of the service is active.
The data collected does not allow personal identification of users, and is not crossed with other information relating to the same person. They are treated in aggregate and anonymized form (truncated at the last octet). On the basis of a specific agreement (DPA), Google Inc. (responsible for the treatment) is prohibited from crossing these data with those obtained from other services.

The user can selectively disable (opt-out) the collection of data by Google Analytics by installing thespecific component provided by Google (opt out).
- Youtube: platform, owned by Google, for sharing videos. Cookies are set when the page containing the embed is accessed, and when the video is started, and they do not allow the identification of the User unless he is already logged into the Google profile.
For the videos on the site, the option "advanced privacy (no cookie)" which causes YouTube not to store information about visitors unless they voluntarily play the video.
Data collected: number and behavior of users of the service, IP address, information linking visits to the site to the Google account for users already logged in, preferences for viewing videos.
Place of data processing: USA.
Social networking plugins
The site also incorporates plugins and/or buttons in order to allow easy sharing of content on your favorite social networks. When you visit a page of our website that contains a plugin, your browser connects directly to the servers of the social network from which the plugin is loaded, which server can trace your visit to our website and, where appropriate, associate it to your social account, especially if you are logged in at the time of your visit or if you have recently browsed one of the websites containing social plugins.
